Matthew Gonzales is an education policy researcher with a deep interest in racial and socioeconomic school integration and educational equity. He was formerly a special education middle-school teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). He is currently a graduate student of education policy at Teachers College, Columbia University.
