Schools That Believe: Closing the Belief Gap With Community Schools

Schools That Believe returns to explore how community-based charter schools in St. Louis are closing the belief gap and expanding access to quality education. Set against the backdrop of a city shaped by segregation and population decline, the series highlights the undeniable benefits of charter schools in underserved communities. Using teaching models (like Montessori) that uniquely challenge and uplift their students, these charter schools are built to help solve problems other public schools can’t—including the persistent racial achievement gap that disproportionately affects Black students.

Tune in to see the real differences that are made when people are given the chance to believe in better.
