J.D. Harrison is the senior editor for digital content at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where he writes extensively about health care, immigration, infrastructure, regulations and a host of other issues that influence the decisions of executives, employers and entrepreneurs. He also writes for the organization's Chamber Quarterly Magazine. J.D. previously covered small business, entrepreneurship and public policy for The Washington Post, where he helped launch and later run the Post's On Small Business Blog. On Small Business was later ranked by Forbes as one of the nation's must-read publications for small business owners. Before moving to Washington, he covered startups and emerging technology for Portfolio in New York. J.D. is a proud native of Durham, North Carolina, and a graduate of both Wake Forest University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
