Cristin Murphy has been an educator for five years, currently entering her sixth year teaching special education. Murphy teaches at Roseville Area Middle School in Little Canada, Minnesota. She is the daughter of a single mom and a graduate of Milwaukee Public Schools who discovered her love for teaching while working as a special education paraprofessional at Community of Peace Academy. Murphy channels her passion for educational equity through her teaching and work with two education policy and advocacy organizations, Educators 4 Excellence-Minnesota and MinnCAN.
