Antonio Villaraigosa is the former Mayor of Los Angeles and the former Speaker of the California Assembly, who began his career as a local labor leader with the United Teachers Los Angeles. He has extensive experience in state and local government, business, education, organized labor and the nonprofit sector. Mr. Villaraigosa holds a B.A. in History from UCLA and a J.D. from the Peoples College of Law.
