It’s easy to forget how powerful we can be for our communities regardless of what’s happening in national politics.

So we’re hosting the #GetEducated Week of Action in partnership with our sister site Voice to Action to help get you the information you need to #VoteLocal.

For Day 2, Education Post’s Lisa Hollenbach hosted award-winning educators Michelle Pearson and Patrick Kelly to talk about why it matters for you to do your research when you #VoteLocal.

Give these three social studies teachers your time because they can help you relieve some headaches in your neighborhood.
