Sara Ray Stoelinga

Sara Ray Stoelinga is the Sara Liston Spurlark director of the University of Chicago Urban Education Institute (UEI), and a clinical professor on the Committee on Education. Stoelinga leads all aspects of the Urban Education Institute, overseeing development of teachers, applied research, operation of schools, and the distribution of models to improve schools nationally. Stoelinga first joined UEI as an intern in 1995, moving to become a senior researcher at the Consortium on School Research and senior director of UEI.
