Megan Simmons

Megan Simmons is currently a sophomore at Barnard College of Columbia University in New York City, where she is studying political science and sociology. Megan’s involvement in youth organizing began as a junior in high school in Lexington, South Carolina. She now serves as the director of strategy at Student Voice. Megan was selected recently as a youth fellow in Facebook’s inaugural cohort of Community Leadership Fellows and has also served as a student advisor for The New Teacher Project (TNTP) and a cohort fellow for EdSurge Independent. When she’s not working on Student Voice, you can find her drinking iced coffee, listening to a podcast or seeing a Broadway show.
