Ashley Thomas

Ashley Thomas grew up in Indianapolis and her desire to educate others was evident at a very young age by her entire family. She became a tutor for children in her neighborhood and went on to attend Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. She has her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification through Purdue University. She is now the family engagement and organizing specialist for Stand for Children Indiana where she facilitates a parent training course called Stand University for Parents across the Indianapolis Public Schools. Ashley believes that empowering parents is her way to educate but also to give back to a community that she has received so much from to rebuild our village.
