Alexandra Buckmire

Alexandra Buckmire is the Head of School at Boston Renaissance Charter Public School, serving as the school’s chief executive and academic leader. She has more than 20 years of experience working with students and families, and has been a member of the team at Boston Renaissance since 1999. Prior to becoming Head of School in 2016, she served as the Director of Unified Student Services at BRCPS, overseeing the Special Education Department, English Language Education, Mental Health and Counseling services, and Health Services.
