Becca Lais is a graduate student at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa and former Tulsa-based member of Teach For America, where she taught sixth- through eighth-grade students. She received her undergraduate in peace studies, gender studies and philosophy. She plans to use her masters to work in advocacy and community practice.
