MDonnell Tenner is the author of the 240 Ways to Close the Achievement GAP Series and CEO of Diverse K12 Jobs. Tenner received his undergraduate a degree in sports management with a minor in business administration at Southwest Minnesota State University. He went on to earn his master’s degree in educational administration from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, along with his K-12 principal certification and superintendency certification. He is currently completing his doctorate in education leadership and policy studies from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and graduated from the National Superintendents Academy in Chicago, Illinois. He has been credited with increasing student and parent attendance and engagement, instituting programs such as STEM and STEAM into underserved districts and using innovative techniques to encourage new ways of learning Tenner is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Tenner as well as a proven, creative “out-of-the–box” educator who gets results. His daily mental mantra is “He thought I was worth saving.”
